Why did you start blogging?

I started blogging to better understand what was shaping the future of social media. I quickly found out how simple (and fun!) it was to publish beautiful pages that could be filled with anything from family memories to interesting stories from the web to thoughts about stuff I care about. I wish blogging was around 20 years ago.
