comScore published a study called "The Power of Like" which has a nice chart to keep in mind when teaching brands the basics of social media marketing. I think this basic view works well, but any social strategy needs to keep in mind the different types of fans. Some are HUGE, some not so much. Is Facebook better for your superfans or are there other ways to reach them (that won't alienate your more casual followers?)
What if Twitter sellers all blew through their sales goals? What if Twitter didn't innovate their ad strategy? I envision a more robust brand page developing arming brands with powerful ways to attract and engage audiences.

I am a father of three girls and an executive with deep roots in digital media, advertising, and internet development, dating back to my first website launch in 1999.
I am passionate about growing internet/digital companies across media, advertising and social. I have been successful finding the perfect blend of art & science in everything I do.
Growing up, I was surrounded by two ways of thinking. My mom, an educator passionate about the arts, and my dad, a physicist researching and dissecting almost impossible problems. These complementary perspectives have guided my approach to becoming an expert — whether it was mastering hitting a baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies organization, performing jazz piano across Europe, or my lifelong quest of enjoying the perfect cup of coffee.
